  • Vocabulary Activities: Students swipe through vocabulary slides, read the words and sentences aloud and write them on one of the writing templates.

Differentiation

Students work on the same first grade writing activities, but with different expectations based on their skill level. Some students may write words independently, some might write sentences, and some may be ready for short paragraphs.

Each activity in the Pumpkin Writing Center resource is designed to help students independently practice their current writing skills. This ensures each student can complete their writing center tasks successfully.
