The Spring Writing Centers Bundle has 16 sets of spring writing activities that introduce 1st grade students to new vocabulary and provides opportunities to practice independent writing. Students practice narrative, informative, and descriptive writing with activities aligned to 1st grade writing standards and the Science of Reading. Activities are differentiated so students can write at their own level, from individual words to complete sentences and short paragraphs.
Students work on the same first grade writing activities, but with different expectations based on their skill level. Some students may write words independently, some might write sentences, and some may be ready for short paragraphs.
Each activity in the Spring Writing Centers Bundle is designed to help students independently practice their current writing skills. This ensures each student can complete their writing center tasks successfully.
Yes! The 1st grade writing activities are designed to be flexible. Use them for writer’s workshop, independent writing centers, or free writing time.
