A VIDEO anchor chart is embedded in the first slide of the resource. It will play directly on the slide, students will not be directed to another site. The video explains capitalization of holidays, and then gives instructions for the activity.

Students move the capital letters to the words with interactive slides. Then, they will practice writing the names of the holidays.

Audio is embedded on each slide. Emerging readers have the words read for them.

How do I use this product in Seesaw?

These activities are preloaded onto Seesaw. Add them to your account with one click. The first slide has the video, and then there are eighteen slides with movable elements and a writing activity for the students to use during a writing lesson, or at a writing station. Are there traditional resources?

Yes! All my digital products also have traditional resources. An anchor chart is ready for you to print and display. A worksheet is available to give to your students for extra practice on capital letters.

How do I use this product to teach beginning capitalization?

Use these activities either in your writing stations, or as a whole group. Perfect for both distance learning and a socially distant classroom. Students watch the video first, then complete the slides. This activity is intended for students to complete independently.
