Your students will love choosing the correct spelling of a short vowel CVC word and feeding it to hungry beach friends. When they are playing the spelling games online with Google Slides and Boom Learning Cards, the friends are GIFs! Each of the beach friends will open and close their mouths to chew the words! GIFs are not compatible with Seesaw, so their mouth will remain open. 

There are 30 cards on Google Slides and Boom Learning, with a short vowel CVC word on each card. If you use Seesaw, there are 20 slides. (Seesaw’s maximum number).

Your students will look at the short vowel CVC word pictures, listen to the audio of the word, then drag and drop the word to feed the hungry friends.
