Use this Google and Seesaw activity to teach your students how to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. A video gives them instructions and helps them practice. Then they will do the activity on Seesaw or Google.
A VIDEO anchor chart is embedded in the first slide of the resource. It will play directly on the slide, students will not be directed to another site. The video explains beginning capitalization, and then gives instructions for the activity.
Students move the capital letters to the beginning of the sentences with interactive slides. Then, they will practice writing the sentences.
Audio is embedded on each slide. Emerging readers have the words read for them.
These activities are preloaded onto Seesaw. Add them to your account with one click. The first slide has the video, and then there are eighteen slides with movable elements and a writing activity for the students to use during a writing lesson, or at a writing station. You need a Seesaw account to use this product, but Seesaw is free. You can learn more about this program here.
